Join Mary O’Sullivan Design and The Anxious Girls Society for a special Embroidery & Mindfulness Workshop at Angel Times, Limerick, on March 8th from 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
In this hands-on session, you’ll learn the art of embroidery while engaging in open conversations about mental health, self-care, and managing anxiety. Hosted by two women-owned businesses, this event is a celebration of International Women’s Day, bringing creativity, community, and well-being together in a warm and welcoming space.
Whether you're an experienced stitcher or a total beginner, Mary will guide you through the process, showing how embroidery can be a meditative, mindful practice that encourages presence and relaxation. Meanwhile, Aoibhinn and Roisin will encourage individual and group discussions around minding our mental health, creating an open and supportive environment for everyone.
The price includes 3 hours of discussions on mental health, hands on teaching support, chats with new friends, your own piece of embroidery and up to 2 thread colours to take home for you to finish your project in your own time. Materials are provided for the workshop, and there is an option to purchase your own embroidery kit after the class.
Light refreshments will be provided, so you can enjoy a cozy and calming afternoon of stitching and connection.
